How they're made: Konjac roots are cleaned, dried, and ground into a fine konjac flour or powder.  The powder is mixed with water to create a viscous gel-like paste. Optional ingredients such as Green Tea Extract, Milk or Honey, Clay, Charcoal, etc. are thoroughly blended into the konjac paste.  The paste is poured into round molds that are then heated to solidify and sterilize the mixture. Then they're air-dried in the sun making them hard and lightweight.  Our sponges are packaged in biodegradable or recyclable materials compliant with Prop 65.
