From garden to glow. This is nothing like store-bought loofahs. You can tell these are organically grown, firm, airy, and perfectly textured. My skin feels rejuvenated after every shower, and I love knowing it came straight from a local California farm.

FAQ About WholeLoof

How often should I replace my Loofah sponge?

For the best hygiene and performance, we recommend replacing your bath Loofah every 3-6 weeks depending on how frequently you use it.

When done with the sponge, don't throw it away! You can repurpose it by using it for household cleaning, plant pot liners or toppers, fabric painting and other craft projects.

Where were the loofahs grown?

All our Loofahs are grown in Morgan Hill, California. From a seed to a Loofah that is ready to be harvested, we take pride in being able to witness them grow.

Why are the loofahs different colors?

We do not bleach any of our Loofah products, meaning that what you see are its natural colors. Of course, we thoroughly wash and sun-dry the Loofahs before selling them!

Is it safe to use as a sponge for my body?

Yes, it is completely safe to use for your body exfoliation. The Loofah just needs to be soaked in water for a few minutes and it will soften.

Note: We do not recommend you use the Loofah sponge for your face. Our Konjac sponges are gentle enough for faces.

How do I maintain my loofah sponge?

We highly recommend that you hang dry your loofah sponge after each use. This makes it more durable and it will last longer.

Each of our sponges come with an organic cotton hanging loop so you can hang it any where that you like to dry in between uses!

To sanitize loofahs, drop into a pan of boiling water for five minutes or wet and put into a microwave on high for one minute to kill bacteria that is common to all sponges.

Why do your loofahs all look different?

Nature loves variety and no two are ever identical!  Each one develops its own unique shape and size. Think of them as nature’s fingerprints—perfectly imperfect.
